Classroom Sponsored by Arcil

Arcil funded the construction of classroom & corridor for Isha Vidhya School at Coimbatore, where children from socially backward families could pursue further education. For every additional classroom built, 40 children are being educated every year and this activity is expected to teach around 1600 students in next 40 years. Health Camp for Villagers of Chandwa District

Health Camp for Villagers of Chandwa District

Arcil organised its first health camp along with distribution of free medicine through The Nishtha Foundation for the villagers affected by closure of the site of Corporate Power Limited. It was observed that the livelihood of villagers in the vicinity was adversely affected by the closure of the thermal power plant. Arcil also distributed around 500 blankets, and food packets to the affected villagers.

Revamping of Matunga Road Railway Station

Creation of an energy efficient and clean & green Matunga Road Railway Station on the Western Line in Mumbai Installation of a 12 kw grid connected renewable solar set up from Tata Power which generates and feeds electricity back to the power grid Ensuring adequate and efficient lighting on the platforms by replacing 260 fluorescent tube lights of 56 watt with LED tube lights of 36 watt Facilitation of landscaping & plantation on the stretch facing Tulsi Pipe Road boundry wall of the railway station along with thematic painting & graffiti as an awareness initiative for social causes Revamping signage at the Station
